ONIX Metadata ============= We currently accept ONIX 2.1 metadata feeds in XML format. Please see below for common questions regarding the ONIX metadata process. ISBN(s) ------- Please provide as many ISBN(s) as possible in your feed. This information is used in our sales channels to connect buyers to your titles. The primary ISBN used for identification in our system is the eISBN13, however we can store an unlimited number of identifiers for each title. Files ----- The name of each content file should mirror the primary identifier for a title. For example, if a title's eISBN13 is `1234567890` the PDF or EPUB content file would be named `1234567890.pdf(epub)` and the cover image would be `1234567890.jpg`. If there is a difference between your primary identifier and the file names please alert us during account setup. Pricing ------- The pricing configuration is stored in our database as part of your account setup and depends on the terms of your contract. If you're planning on offering multiple durations a schedule of discounts will be entered into your account and the pricing options will be calculated based on that. In most cases, you need only provide the retail price of your print title in the ONIX feed (type 01 or 02). Withdraw / Suppression ---------------------- We support ONIX based withdraw requests via notification type 005 as well as availability code WS. Sending a title update with either of these variables will remove the title from sale when processed. Additionally, we prefer to be notified via email for each of your requests. Please email content@redshelf.com with the title name and ISBN you wish to have removed and we'll ensure it's processed as soon as possible.
